The Alte Nationalgalerie stands on Museumsinsel (Museum Island), a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Mitte district, about a five-minute walk from Berlin Cathedral. Both venues are connected by U-Bahn, S-Bahn and bus, so they can be combined on the same day.
